Welcome! My name is Rich Hancock, and I am a senior citizen who has found great peace in his old age in the forgiveness that Jesus Christ offers to sinners. I enjoy reading my Bible and doing podcasts about things I have read. I also program Follow Jesus Radio. The goal of each podcast is to encourage us all to have faith in Jesus Christ and follow Him daily. If you return to God

Deuteronomy 30:1-6 (WEB)  It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations where Yahweh your God has driven you, 

and return to Yahweh your God and obey his voice according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul, 

that then Yahweh your God will release you from captivity, have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Yahweh your God has scattered you. 

If your outcasts are in the uttermost parts of the heavens, from there Yahweh your God will gather you, and from there he will bring you back. 

Yahweh your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you will possess it. He will do you good, and increase your numbers more than your fathers. 

Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your offspring, to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live. 

You must keep watch!

 Matthew 24:42-44 NLT

"So you, too, must keep watch! For you don't know what day your Lord is coming. [43] Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into. [44] You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

Hold fast until I come

 Revelation 2:25-29 ESV

Only hold fast what you have until I come. [26] The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, [27] and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. [28] And I will give him the morning star. [29] He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.'

Cry out to Jesus!

Matthew 20:29-34 CSB As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him. [30] There were two blind men sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" [31] The crowd demanded that they keep quiet, but they cried out all the more, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" [32] Jesus stopped, called them, and said, "What do you want me to do for you?" [33] "Lord," they said to him, "open our eyes." [34] Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes. Immediately they could see, and they followed him.
